As the Programme Lead for E3G’s UK Sustainable Finance team, Heather advises a range of government, civil society and non-state actors on the intersection between the climate crisis, geopolitics and the mobilisation of finance and investment.

With over a decade of experience in climate finance, investment and fiscal policy, Heather works closely with CSOs, business and investors to drive and deliver transformative finance outcomes in the UK. Heather also supports the UK’s global ambition on green and transition finance, helping position Britain as a progressive voice globally on national frameworks, investment mobilisation, and entity level transition planning.

Ahead of COP26, Heather led the campaign to secure the UK’s world leading commitment to become a Net Zero Aligned Financial Centre, and cement Transition Plans as a global norm. Heather currently sits on the Transition Finance Council, shaping the national and international dialogue on approaches to transition finance.
