Julia Rowe joined Ocado as Sustainability Director in January 2024 and is now VP of Global Sustainability & Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). She leads the integration of sustainability and HSE into the company’s value proposition, ensuring that technological advancements deliver positive environmental, social and safety outcomes.
With 20 years of experience embedding sustainability and HSE into FTSE100 businesses, Julia has worked across multiple sectors to align corporate strategy with responsible, safe and resilient business practices.
Julia serves as a Board member of techUK and as an Expert Panel member of the Faraday Institution, where she leads on battery recycling. Passionate about net zero, the circular economy, human rights, social impact and workforce safety, she also collaborates closely with shareholders to monitor and enhance sustainability and HSE performance.
