Joe Welton leads OpenAI’s Large Enterprise business across the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, working with some of the region’s largest organisations to move AI from experimentation into practical, company-wide value. Before OpenAI, Joe spent seven and a half years at AWS, where he led the UK Travel & Hospitality business and partnered with customers across start-ups, digital natives and large enterprises. His focus is the operating work behind successful AI adoption: choosing high-value workflows, enabling teams, building governance into delivery and scaling what works. He studied at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
