Michael is responsible for all aspects of variable and regulatory remuneration at NatWest Group from bonus pool and long term incentive design and delivery through to external statutory and regulatory disclosures. He has extensive experience of designing, implementing and managing reward policies, processes and programmes on a global basis. Michael’s team are also responsible for Reward Reporting and Analytics, Remuneration Committee management and managing the senior executive performance goals process for the Group.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years financial services experience, he spent his early career first at PwC and then at Barclays in the Wealth Management business. Since joining NatWest Group in 2010, Michael has held a variety of roles in the Reward and Employment teams prior to his current position.
