As Head of Executive Compensation at NatWest, Alan oversees pay and performance arrangements for the bank’s senior leadership team and enhanced governance population. This includes advising on executive recruitment, compensation design, goal setting, performance management and remuneration governance.

Prior to joining the NatWest Group, Alan was a solicitor in private practice, specialising in employment law. He joined RBS in 2008, focusing on executive recruitment and severance, and has worked in Executive Compensation since 2018.
