Iana Vidal is Director of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs for Clearpay in the UK and Europe. She leads the company’s engagement with government, regulators and other key stakeholders, to influence policy and regulation that supports and promotes innovation in financial services.
Iana has extensive experience across a range of policy areas, and has previously worked for trade and professional bodies, and in the not for profit sector. Prior to her role at Clearpay she was Head of Policy and Government Affairs at Innovate Finance, the UK’s leading FinTech trade body. She played an integral role in delivering the Kalifa Review into UK FinTech in February 2021, working with senior leaders across the UK’s FinTech ecosystem to develop recommendations to the UK Government on policy and regulation.
