George is a partner in our Digital Business practice in London. He advises technology and telecoms firms on a wide variety of commercial, outsourcing and procurement matters, but his primary area of expertise is around crypto assets and blockchain, and the regulatory issues surrounding these technologies.
George has acted on transactions for a broad range of crypto asset businesses, including the majority of the biggest names in the sector – as a result of his experience in this area he is recognised as one of the country’s leading experts on the legal issues surrounding digital currencies and blockchain. As noted above, George’s clients include some of the largest and most high- profile digital currency businesses in the world and he has advised on nearly all major industry developments and new product launches outside of the US for some of these clients. In the UK George is accordingly seen as one of only a very small number of “go-to” lawyers in the UK for any and all digital currency issues.
George regularly speaks publicly and to clients on matters relating to digital currency, including alongside MPs and other senior figures within Government. George is also one of the co-authors of the UK chapter of Getting The Deal Through: FinTech
