Matt leads on policy and government relations for Kraken in the UK (as well as some other jurisdictions). Before joining Kraken earlier this year Matt spent 5 years within Standard Chartered's regulatory affairs team. He has also held London based policy roles at Deutsche Bank and CME Group. Matt is originally from Ottawa, Canada, and has previously worked for the Canadian government, as well as a public policy think tank, before moving to the UK. Finally, he is a failed academic, with PhD in Political Science from UBC in Vancouver.
