Chloe Cina is a barrister and leading international expert in EU and UK sanctions and export controls. She has nearly two decades of experience in national security law. She has held key roles in government, at global financial institutions, and as a partner at a US law firm. She served as legal advisor in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, leading the UK’s Iran nuclear legal team and handling the government's Iran-related sanctions litigation in both UK and EU courts. She was the Global Head of Sanctions Advisory at Deutsche Bank during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the UK Head of Sanctions at HSBC, and is now a Senior Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute.
