Alice Kemp is the Global General Counsel for Sanctions and Economic Crime at Unilever. Alice has had a winding career path which has seen her meander through the worlds of white collar criminal defence and the prosecution services of two countries to arrive, slightly unexpectedly, in the world of sanctions and export controls in time for the JCPOA to be agreed, then left, then abandoned; unifying, in a way that only lawyers can, half a chemistry degree, an obsessive love of language and an ability to write eternal (but somehow grammatically correct) sentences.
