Megan is the Sanctions Lead at Flutter International, responsible for overseeing the firm’s global sanctions compliance programme.

Megan advises across a broad range of cross-jurisdictional sanctions issues, including UK, EU and US regimes, supporting existing customers and partners as well as complex project negotiations. Megan’s work spans training, monitoring, and the practical implementation of sanctions frameworks that work within live business contexts.

With over 25 years’ experience in export controls and sanctions, Megan has held roles across defence manufacturing, banking, and the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector. Megan’s background includes securing OFAC and US Department of State export licences for military equipment, reviewing letters of credit for sanctions risk within a UK bank, and building export control and sanctions programmes from the ground up.

More recently, Megan joined Flutter International, where she is delighted to focus fully on her long-standing professional passion: all things sanctions.
