Sophia is the Group Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection authority, where she leads ICO’s team of AI policy and technology experts.

She is the lead author of ICO's fairness update to the Guidance on AI and Data Protection, ICO sponsor the Algorithmic Processing workstream of the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum and a strategic thought leader on AI across the organisation.
