Nataliya joined LBG as a Senior Data and AI Ethics Analyst. She is a specialist in financial data science, applied to market, technological and environmental risks to financial systems (incl. ESG and AI ethics). She obtained her PhD in Computer Science in 2019 from the University of Warwick, where she submitted my thesis on LLMs and automated detection of semantic drifts in online media sources. She then went on to pursue my research at the Alan Turing Institute, the Ministry of Defence and the University of Oxford, to work on systemic AI risks to insurance, missing financial data for ESG applications and life-cycle assessments of the carbon intensive industries. In addition to her main role at the LBG, she is also a visiting research fellow at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and Harvard Business School, where she gives occasional talks about climate & environmental risks, ESG and AI credit rating approaches
