In his role as Director Business Development at Treevive Michel combines his passion for nature conservation and restoration with his extensive track record in creating new, sustainable business models and setting up (public-private) partnerships. Since 2018 Michel also chairs the REDD+ Business Initiative, advocating the REDD+ instrument to various stakeholders on behalf of actors across the REDD+ value chain. Prior to his current position, Michel worked at Europe’s largest business network on sustainable business and innovation and co-founded and ran a sustainability consultancy agency.
