Zoe has over 15 years’ experience in international climate change and development policy and programming for the UK government, spanning climate finance, international negotiations and decarbonisation policy. She currently leads the Green Finance & Capability team within DESNZ’s International Net Zero Directorate, overseeing work on green finance, global carbon markets and building capability in developing countries to accelerate decarbonisation.
Former roles include oversight of DESNZ’s £3bn portfolio of International Climate Finance Programmes, Co-Chair of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) board and Co-Chair of the NDC partnership. She has also worked as an adviser on environmental policy areas including sustainable consumption and water pollution, at sustainable development programmes in Kenya and Honduras and as a business analyst in the private sector.
