John has over 30 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. In 1998 John founded Apax Partners Corporate Finance CIS in Moscow. In 2003 he was recruited as a Partner at Deloitte in Moscow to establish its corporate finance advisory business in Russia. In 2006, he launched and managed Aurora Russia, a private equity fund listed on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange. As a serial entrepreneur and investor, John has founded several companies focused on capital investment and growth. In 2019, John co-founded Aalto Capital in London where he currently serves as Managing Partner.
