Sarah Flaherty is a partner in S&C’s London office. She advises clients on international public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and equity offerings. Her practice spans a broad range of industries, with particular experience in the natural resources, consumer and healthcare sectors. Sarah was seconded as the Secretary to the UK Takeover Panel from September 2019 to September 2021, and was the senior regulator on many of the most high-profile takeovers in that period.

Sarah is recognized by Chambers UK 2027 for Corporate/M&A: £800 Million and Above and by The Legal 500 UK 2027 as a Next Generation Partner. Financial News named her a “Rising Star of Legal Services” in Europe in 2023.
