Richard Knox is co-Director of the Financial Services Group at HM Treasury.
He is responsible for the range of international policy covered by the Group, including EU engagement and negotiation, the Government's policy, and engagement with the rest of the world, and trade negotiations on financial services. He is also responsible for policy on capital markets, ESG finance regulation, financial market infrastructure and prudential banking.
Previously Richard was Deputy Director for securities and markets and has led EU negotiations on major financial services legislative files.
