Marion Shaw is a passionate and award-winning data leader. Currently responsible for the International Business Group of Cencora Marion is supporting their vision to ‘Create healthier futures’ using data. Marion has led a major transformation at Chaucer Group changing how the organisation uses data, building its first Centre of Enablement, driving their biggest tech investment in years, and delivering millions in measurable business impact.
Known for making data approachable and meaningful, Marion champions a data-driven culture through creative learning initiatives like gamified workshops and data fluency programs. Her leadership has not only elevated Chaucer’s data capabilities but also significantly increased diversity in her team, growing female representation from 10% to 50% in under two years.
Outside of her day-to-day role, Marion is a founding member of Women in Tech at Chaucer and sits on the DataIQ Leadership & Vision Advisory Board. In 2024, she was named Data & Analytics Leader of the Year by Data IQ, Data Driven Leader of the year by Corndel and her team won data team of the year in the London Market Awards.
Marion brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to data strategy and transformation. She’s excited to share her insights on building inclusive, business-savvy data cultures that truly make a difference. Marion will be publishing a book ‘Why Data Culture Matters’ in 2026 sharing her passion with as many people as possible.
