Rhiannon is a Principal in the Payments and Innovation team at UK Finance, responsible for policy and advocacy on new digital money and assets, as well as wholesale cash. Rhiannon is the manager for the cross-industry ‘Tokenised Sterling Deposits (GBTD)’ project, and leads work on topics such as CBDC, stablecoins and cryptoassets, and provides thought leadership on policy issues in payments and cash more generally. Over her years at UK Finance, she has previously led work on Open Banking, SEPA, government engagement as a user of the payment systems, digital ID, and card payments. Prior to joining UK Finance, Rhiannon completed an MPhil at Cambridge.
