Francisco is an Associate Director, FinTech and Digitalisation at the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). Francisco’s role is focused on assisting in supporting market stability and consistency whilst driving the safe and secure adoption of innovative and transformational technologies, with a particular focus on DLT and DLT bonds, in line with ICMA’s mission to promote well-functioning cross-border capital markets, essential to funding sustainable economic growth, promoting resilient and well-functioning international debt capital markets. Francisco is also a Brazil-qualified lawyer, holding a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws.

Prior to ICMA Francisco worked for ING for 3 years as a legal counsel in the capital markets & treasury team, assisting with the issuance of securities in a global context.
