David is a partner at Slaughter and May within the corporate practice. He has wide ranging domestic and international experience advising clients on all aspects of mergers and acquisition of both public and private companies, general corporate finance, equity capital markets and corporate governance. He advises clients across a broad range of sectors including financial institutions, insurance and media.

In spring 2023 he will be taking over as Co-Head of the firm’s Sustainability practice, which covers advising clients on corporate governance, reporting and disclosures, supply chain and human rights, sustainable finance and ESG-driven transactions and risk management. He is also Chairman of the firm’s Africa Practice Group.
