Kristina is the ESG Lead for Sizewell C – a proposed new nuclear power station to be built on the Suffolk coast. Kristina has 15 years’ sustainability experience for both private and public sector. Her previous roles included a climate and environment sector lead for the U.S. Department of Commerce at the U.S. Embassy in London. She led high profile commercial diplomacy and advocacy cases, advised on key policy issues, and led the U.S. Department of Commerce’s climate and environmental initiatives such as COP26 engagements. Kristina was previously an Associate in the Energy and Sustainability team of a built-environment consultancy AECOM where she was responsible for sustainability and energy programmes for large infrastructure projects and redevelopment schemes.

Kristina holds a Civil Engineering degree from Brno University of Technology (with part of studies completed at Danish Technical University in Copenhagen). Kristina is an individual recipient of the U.S. Ambassador’s Meritorious Honour Award for leadership, CS Europe Award for Innovation and as part of a team receiving ‘Green Apple’ Environmental Award.
