Albena is an Executive Director at the Infrastructure Investment Team of IFM Investors. With > US$ 100 bn under management globally, IFM is one of the largest and most established infrastructure investors. At IFM, Albena is responsible for the sourcing, execution and management of infrastructure investments across Europe, as well as the development of key industrial relationships. Albena is actively involved in the Energy Transition initiatives of IFM, including the recent launch of a NetZero Infrastructure Fund, where she is actively shaping the coverage of emerging sectors such as Hydrogen, CCUS and sustainable fuels.

Before joining IFM, Albena led the M&A Advisory team for Energy at ABN AMRO Bank, covering the Energy, Maritime, Commodities and Chemicals value chains.

Prior to that, Albena was a Managing Director at Advent International, one of the largest global private equity funds, and Senior Investment Manager with ABN AMRO Capital, focusing on investments in Telecommunication, Media and Technologies.
