Sharon is Chair of The Linear Infrastructure Planning Panel which has been set up to develop good practice in the use of new tools, such as AI, in the specific area of linear infrastructure planning. Until May 2022 she was CEO of think tank and charity Sustainability First which is focused on social and environmental issues in the energy and water sectors. Sharon is a member of the National Infrastructure Commission’s climate resilience panel, and was a previous member of the expert panel for the UKRN and Ofgem and Ofwat’s innovation competitions, Board member of Nest Pensions and Council member of Which?
