Amar is Joint Managing Director and Co-founder of Agilia. He has spent over 20 years developing and delivering infrastructure projects and is regarded as a leader in his field of infrastructure development. Amar has been at the forefront of ground-breaking infrastructure delivery models within the UK, where he led the UK’s £12 billion waste sector PPP programme (the most complex context for which PPP’s have been applied) and led the development of the innovative and widely acclaimed £4.2 billion Thames Tideway Tunnel delivery model and main works contract procurement.

Amar started his career in the City, with Allen & Overy advising banks and sponsors on UK and international projects. He also spent time at HM Treasury where he worked on numerous projects, including responsibility for developing and delivering the commercial and contractual framework for a multi-billion programme of investment in infrastructure.
