Sarah is Founder and CEO of Ripple Energy. She set up Ripple in 2017 to enable household consumers to own large scale onshore wind farms and solar parks, the UK’s cheapest source of power. Ripple has crowdfunded 60MW of wind and solar projects to date, with one operational wind farm and one under construction and a solar park in pre-construction. They are owned by around 15,000 co-operative members and 30 businesses. Sarah has worked in the wind industry since 2000, including as Head of Public Affairs (UK + Ireland) at Vestas, a Market Economist at RES and as Head of Renewable Energy at AEP (now EnergyUK). Alongside her role at Vestas she was also vice Chair of RenewableUK and chaired its Markets and Economics Strategy Group.
