Gwen leads the Mentoring Programme for Women in Banking & Finance. With extensive experience in Consulting for financial services, and with the perspectives of an Anthropologist, Gwen has been advocating for the benefits of mentoring for women within organisations as well as externally in the industry.
As part of bringing the mentoring community together for Women in Banking and Finance, Gwen, along with the team, has developed various programmes - e.g. , Group Mentoring programme where small groups get together to discuss salient topics that women face in the workplace today; Mentor curriculum which provides support to current mentors of the programme, and most recently, the introductory sessions to welcome new members to the mentoring community.
Gwen is passionate about women empowerment. She has been heavily supporting gender equality initiatives since 2016. She currently serves as a Board member of the Women’s Foundation in Hong Kong. She has been an advisory council member for the TWF mentoring programme since 2018, and she was involved in the joint TWF/PwC study of Gender Diversity in the Hong Kong Financial Services Sector in 2018.
