Roshni Haywood joined HSBC as Global Head of HR for Digital Business Services (DBS) in October 2021. With a total workforce of ~100,000, DBS is responsible for digitisation at scale across HSBC that includes: - delivering seamless digital customer experiences; ensuring resilience and security; embracing disruptive technologies & partnering with innovators; and automating and simplifying at scale.

Previously Roshni worked at General Electric (GE), where she was Group VP Human Resources, GE Renewable Energy from 2015 based in Paris, France following the GE-Alstom transaction.

Prior to joining HSBC, Roshni held a number of global HR leadership roles at GE across a number of businesses during the period 1996 – 2021, including GE Capital, GE Healthcare (following the acquisition of Amersham PLC), GE Renewable Energy and led Executive Development at GE Corporate. During her time at GE she was based in the UK, France and the US. Prior to GE, Roshni held HR roles at BAe Systems PLC and Santander.

Roshni holds a BSc. (Hons) degree in Business and Psychology from Aston University, Birmingham UK, has held a number of board positions/ Chair of Remcos during her time at GE Capital (2009-2016) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

Roshni and her husband Kevin, have two sons, Joshua and Matthew.
