Rachael De Renzy Channer is Global Head of Sustainability at Egon Zehnder. Rachael leads EZ’s Impact Journey and drives the Firm's environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, as well as engaging on this important topic with relevant partners. Rachael is passionate about developing great leaders who drive impactful results and have a “ripple effect” by growing high performing teams around them.
Rachael spent twelve years in the Army, having commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst into the Royal Artillery. A large part of her military career was spent focusing on leadership and development.
On leaving the Army, Rachael moved into Corporate Security, followed by Corporate Strategy at Invensys Plc, later acquired by Schneider Electric where she held the role of Head of Strategy Implementation in the Schneider Electric UK & Ireland business. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Rachael led Strategy at Avon Rubber whilst leading Artis their Material Consultancy business with a focus on driving increased sustainability through innovative technology.
Rachael has a BA (Hons) in War Studies from King’s College London, an MSc in Global Security from Cranfield University and an MBA from the Open University.
