Max Rychkov has been leading Westinghouse Nuclear Regulatory Affairs in EMEA for over a year. Previously, Max has been a nuclear regulator and an operator at Office for Nuclear Regulations and EDF Energy. His detailed knowledge and experience of nuclear operations and regulations have developed within nuclear sector in Ukraine, Sweden, and France.

With over 20+ years of direct nuclear experience principally in operations, regulations, and new build, working for the UK nuclear regulator and the private sector, Max has a track record of successfully leading, advising and supporting an effective and safe electricity generation. Max has held senior responsibilities in delivering projects and leading teams while ensuring that productive relationships are maintained for a successful outcome.

Key career highlights include a successful licensed reactor operator role, international project manager experience at WANO and detailed knowledge of various reactors design features.
Max lives in London with his wife and two children.
