With over 25 years of payments and advisory experience across financial services, Alla advises clients on strategic matters related to payments transformation, tech and ops modernisation, innovation and risk and compliance.

Alla is a Partner and UK Payments Leader at Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Services Technology Consulting practice and a member of global payments leadership team. With over 25 years of experience working in payments and technology consulting, Alla led digital transformation and innovation programmes across financial services. She is focused on helping EY clients to navigate the changing payments landscape, by defining and executing growth strategies, payments operations and technology transformation agenda, infrastructure modernisation and innovation, in addition to exploring the future of digital currencies (CBDCs, deposit tokens, stablecoins). Alla supports banks, PSPs, large corporates on their journey of adoption of real-time payments while accelerating transaction speed, reducing risk and fraud, creating new revenue sources, reducing transaction costs, and reaching new markets. She has recently co-authored and published the EY Global Paytech report: ‘The rise of Paytech – seven forces shaping the future of payments’ and ‘RLN – a strategy roadmap for cross-border payments’. Alla started her career at American Express and Mastercard prior to moving into advisory services around digital transformation and technology.
