Justin is the Chief Policy and Engagement Officer at Pay.UK where he is responsible for the firm’s risk management strategies, policy and public affairs and engagement with the market, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His role includes owning the firm’s operational resilience strategy to ensure the key UK interbank payment systems (FPS, Bacs and cheques) remain resilient in an increasingly complex and challenging world. Justin joined Pay.UK in April 2025 and has previously held senior positions at the Bank of England, Financial Services Authority, HM Treasury and the Association of British Insurers. While at the Bank of England, Justin worked closely with key UK and global payment systems operators and other stakeholders in roles that helped shape the payments landscape and increase resilience levels.
