Nick Robins has over 20 years’ experience with sustainable finance working in investment management, banking, financial policy and research. He joined the LSE as a Professor in Practice for Sustainable Finance in 2018 and established the LSE’s Just Transition Finance Lab in 2024. Prior to joining the LSE, Nick has held roles as Co-Director of the UN Environment’s Inquiry into a Sustainable Finance System, the Head of HSBC’s Climate Change Centre of Excellence and Head of Sustainable and Responsible Investment funds at Henderson Global Investors. Nick has also worked at the European Commission and the Business Council for Sustainable Development. Nick is the co-founder of Carbon Tracker and Planet Tracker.
