Rachel has been Executive Director at the Aldersgate Group since 2023. She has been working in environment and energy policy for more than 20 years, having begun her career on the Defra graduate programme, and has held leadership roles within public, private and non-profit sectors. She is driven by understanding complex environmental problems from all sides and seeking pragmatic solutions. Rachel has been closely involved with projects such as the Transition Plan Taskforce, the DESNZ Net Zero Council, and the Broadway Initiative’s Nature Markets Dialogue.
