David Watkins is a partner at Slaughter and May within the Corporate practice. David’s principal areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions of both public and private companies, general corporate finance, equity capital markets and corporate governance. He advises clients across a broad range of sectors including financial institutions, insurance, media and IEN.

David is Head of the firm’s Sustainability practice, which includes advising clients on corporate governance, reporting and disclosures, supply chain and human rights, sustainable finance and ESG-driven transactions and risk management. He is also Chairman of the firm’s Africa Practice Group.
