David joined PIMFA in November 2022 as Director of Government Relations and Policy. In this role, David leads the Policy, Regulation, and Compliance Team and engages with government and regulatory authorities to ensure that stakeholders understand the needs and interests of PIMFA members and, most importantly, their customers.

Prior to joining PIMFA, David spent 14 years working within financial services change and policy, including four years as the Director of Technology and Operations Regulation at the Association of Financial Markets Europe (AFME), engaging a wide range of capital markets participants and pan-European authorities on matters related to innovation and new technologies, cybersecurity, and operational resilience.
