Richard leads on public policy and advocacy at the Euroclear Group's UK Central Securities Depository, focusing on digitisation, operational resilience and how new technologies will shape future market structure. Richard represents Euroclear on the IRSG’s Global Regulatory Coherence group, TheCityUK’s Long Term Competitiveness Group and UK Finance’s Sanctions Committee and New Digital Assets & Money Steering Group. He is a 2023 Future Leader of the Institute of International Finance and a regular speaker at industry events and to the media on securities and post-trade, and has extensive experience engaging the European Commission, HM Treasury, CFTC, the Basel Committee and CPMI-IOSCO. A dual US/UK national, Richard has Masters in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.
