Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) was established by His Majesty The King when he was The Prince of Wales in 2004, with the aim of working with the finance and accounting community to ensure sustainable business is business as usual. We aim to 

• Inspire finance leaders to adopt sustainable and resilient business models. 
• Transform financial decision making to reflect the opportunities and risks posed by the climate crisis and other environment and social issues. 
• Scale up action to transition to a sustainable economy.  
   

Being primarily an alliance of experienced field-based conservation practitioners and academics, BCA’s value is the direct connection to communities, project supply and science. The BCA aims to define and categorise biodiversity credits, co-develop a model set of digital standards for the market, and establish a peer review mechanism for biodiversity credits. 

The BCA and its members will continue to work with partners in the biodiversity credits market in relation to their integrity and governance initiatives.

The BCA is open to and welcomes discussions on how it can cooperate with ecological standard setters. Members of the BCA are already participating actively in standard setters’ working groups on biodiversity credits.
 

Business for Nature is a global coalition of more than 80+ influential organizations and forward-thinking companies. Together, they drive credible business action and policy ambition to achieve a nature-positive economy for all by 2030.  

In December, governments around the world adopted an ambitious global agreement on nature called the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. This is the equivalent of the Paris Climate Agreement and includes four goals and 23 different targets and provides a framework to halt and reverse nature loss by 2030. 

Business for Nature provide the courage, comfort and technical expertise to governments so that they adopt, implement and enforce ambitious nature policies and help scale and speed up business action by strengthening, clarifying and amplifying why and how companies should act now. The organisation also create business-government dialogues to inform the development of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). 

The Capitals Coalition is a global collaboration redefining value to transform decision making. We sit at the heart of an extensive global network which has united to advance the capitals approach to decision-making. The Coalition provides an overview of the landscape, highlights connections, engages in outreach and facilitates expert advice within the capitals community. We ensure that different parts of the system are connected to one another and that leading organizations and experts are working collaboratively to achieve our shared ambition. By working with our many thousands of global partners we accelerate momentum, leverage success, connect powerful and engaged communities and identify the areas, projects and partnerships where we can collaboratively drive transformational change.
