Synopsis
City & Financial Global’ annual City Remuneration Summit will be taking place on 26th March 2024 at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London. Now in its seventeenth year, the programme has been comprehensively revised and updated to ensure that it addresses the most recent and important developments for remuneration, reward and compensation specialists.
The Summit is widely regarded as the most prestigious event in the remuneration calendar and attracts an unparalleled speaker panel as well as an audience of the key players in the remuneration community. It is unique in that it focusses exclusively on FCA/PRA regulated firms, and the particular challenges facing them in terms of balancing fixed and variable remuneration to reflect their culture and risk appetite.
At the top of the boardroom agenda is the removal of the bankers’ bonus cap. This is one of a number of reforms which have been introduced to drive London’s competitiveness and shore up its position as an international financial centre by attracting and retaining local and international talent. Competing for talent on the international stage is a key theme of this year’s Summit which will also address how the changes to pay are being perceived by the Board, active shareholders, senior managers subject to the SMCR and RemCo Chairs.
