Natalie is an experienced Non-Executive Director, RemCom Chair and Professional Trustee with a strong track record in governance, remuneration, and people strategy. She is currently Chair of the Remuneration Committee Aspen Insurance UK and Aspen Managing Agency Ltd as well as holding Board and committee roles for their Boards, State Street UK Pension and Life Assurance and Social Finance .

Over a 25-year executive career, Natalie held senior investment management roles at State Street Global Advisors, Gartmore, and Nomura, specializing in investment banking , asset management, risk, and sustainability.

She brings deep expertise in aligning executive pay, incentive structures, and people strategies with organizational purpose, regulatory expectations, and stakeholder interests. A Chartered Director with the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma and specialist credentials in pension governance, ESG, and fiduciary oversight, she is known for her strategic insight, balanced judgment, and commitment to transparency, inclusion, and long-term value creation across regulated financial services and not-for-profit sectors.

Kate Pumfrey, Partner, A&O Shearman

Kate is an Employment partner at A&O Shearman. She advises on the employment and remuneration aspects of international transactions, as well as on stand-alone employment advisory and contentious employment matters. She helps clients to navigate employment issues arising in connection with public and private mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and IPO preparation. Kate has significant experience advising post-transaction integration matters and on-board changes. Kate has been seconded to two investment banks and supports a number of financial services clients on sensitive employment and remuneration issues, including regarding the Senior Managers and Certification Regime and the remuneration codes. Kate advises on the employment aspects of operating within the regulatory environment, including whistleblowing arrangements, investigating employee misconduct and applying malus and clawback to employee compensation.
