Summary

The drive to establish the UK as a leading centre for AI is a critical part of the UK government’s growth strategy.

Building on a great success  of our Data & AI  events portfolio, City and Financial Global is pleased to give you advanced notice of the UK National AI Policy, Infrastructure and Skills Summit, which will take place in Central London on 12 November this year. Supported by techUK and put together with kind assistance of the Department for Science, Innovation, and  Technology, this timely and "one of a kind" event will bring together top experts from the field to analyse the progress made so far in implementing the Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan, the next phases in its implementation and the implications for both AI providers and users.  Is the UK on course to deliver its promise to make the UK an “AI superpower”? What more needs to be done?

Chaired by Julian David, CEO, techUK,  the Summit will also review the government’s other policies that impact AI (such as the UK Industrial Strategy), the latest developments in AI data centres and compute infrastructure, AI Growth Zones, the National Data Library, the launch of the Sovereign AI Research Resources, best practice risk management approaches for both providers and users of AI systems, recent public-private sector collaboration to maximise the benefits of AI implementation and opportunities for AI adoption  in key  industries.
